ROMAN B. SCHLAGER

Roman Björn Schlager graduated in law from the University of Basel in 2007. After various traineeships, including at böckli bühler partner, he passed the Basel-Stadt bar exam in 2010. In 2017, Roman Björn Schlager completed an Executive MBA in General Management at the University of St. Gallen, where his Master’s thesis was awarded the NZZ Prize as the best of the year.
After working in a commercial law firm in Basel, in the legal department of a listed company and in a management position at Ernst & Young, he joined böckli bühler partner as a partner in 2025.
Roman Björn Schlager’s main areas of practice include in general comprehensive legal advice to companies, foundations and associations, and in particular contract and corporate law, as well as M&A, restructuring and succession solutions. He advises his clients in German, English and French.
